Streamline your reporting by automatically importing your carbon footprint and energy metrics directly into your ESG data collection campaign. If you have completed a Greenhouse Gas (GHG) assessment using our dedicated module, the system seamlessly connects those results to your required ESG indicators to eliminate duplicate data entry.
Understand the Integration Prerequisites
Before you can transfer your carbon metrics, you must ensure your data is ready for export. The automated backend queries that bridge the GHG and ESG databases require a stable, completed carbon footprint to function accurately.
Warning: You must fully finalize your GHG assessment within the dedicated carbon module before attempting to use this feature. If your carbon accounting is still in progress, the automated suggestions will not appear in your ESG workspace.
Note: The current integration logic primarily covers quantitative datapoints, such as exact emissions totals or energy consumption figures. You will likely still need to manually input narrative text regarding your overall climate policies or transition plans.
Apply GHG Data to ESG Indicators
When you open an ESG indicator that matches a completed metric from your finalized GHG assessment, the platform automatically retrieves the calculated value for you.
Navigate to the ESG Data menu located in the main left-hand sidebar.
Click on the Data Collection tab to view your list of active indicators.
Open a climate, emissions, or energy-related indicator by clicking its specific row in the main table.
Scroll down the datapoint form to locate the main data input field.
Look directly above this input field for a distinct automatic suggestion block containing your imported GHG value.
Click the hyperlinked action text inside this suggestion block to instantly push the retrieved data down into the main answer field.
Review the populated number for accuracy, and then click the Mark as completed button at the bottom of the form to lock in your response.
