Which data should be included in your data collection file?

The aim of this module is to calculate the impact of your company’s insured-associated emissions during the studied year. This module is designed to assess the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated by your insurance lines which are called Insurance-Associated emissions (scope 3.15).
Insured emissions represent the greenhouse gas emissions associated with insurance lines. They are a crucial component of a financial institution's carbon footprint, often representing the largest source of emissions impact.

1. Why consider insured emissions?

Insured emissions represent the greenhouse gas emissions associated with insurance lines. They are a crucial component of a financial institution's carbon footprint, often representing the largest source of emissions impact.
The temporal scope of the study is the financial year of your GHG Report.
⚠️ To be processed by Greenly, the data provided must be in French 🇫🇷 or English 🇬🇧
You can find your module’s data collection file by clicking on the module > Tab “2. Data collection” > “Bulk import - via template”
🎯 The data collection file contains two type of data: mandatory and optional data

  • Mandatory data: It is the minimum necessary data to calculate the amount of CO2e related to this regulatory entry’s activities → Without it, no emissions can be computed.

  • Optional data: any additional data will increase the quality and granularity of the analysis, and provide you various areas of analysis.
