Who can see Audit Logs?
Audit Logs are available to users with the Project Manager role. Other roles don’t see the page.
Where do I find Audit Logs?
Go to Information & settings > Audit Logs.
How do I use Audit Logs?
Browse: the table shows events, newest first, with the event, who performed it and the date.
Filter: narrow the list by date range, user or type of action.
See the details: click an event to see its status, when it started and finished, who performed it, and the record it affected.
Export: download the filtered list as a CSV.
What is tracked?
Completed changes made by people on your team across the platform, including:
Data collection-Carbon footprint and strategy-LCA, ESG and suppliers-Account and users-Exports and resources
Failed actions aren’t listed, since no data changed.
What is not shown?
Sign-in activity. SSO and MFA changes are planned.
Automated updates that weren’t made by a person on your team
Detailed change history for LCA, ESG and GHG activity data, which have their own history views
Audit Logs vs. activity history
Some records have their own History tab: a data collection activity, an ESG answer or an LCA product. That history shows how one record changed, with old and new values, and LCA products can be restored to a previous version. Audit Logs are the account-wide log: every change, by every user, in one list you can filter and export.
What happens when a user or account is removed?
When someone is removed from your account, their past actions show as Unknown user. The record of what changed and when is kept. If your account is closed, its audit logs are permanently deleted.
FAQs
Can I undo a change from Audit Logs?
No. Audit Logs are read-only. Edit the data where it lives; LCA products can be restored from their own history.
Why don’t I see a change I expected?
Check your filters and date range first. The change may also predate Audit Logs, belong to an LCA product or GHG activity data, or have failed to save.
